Question Brembo GT "European Version" ?

Pretty sure this is the only Brembo kit noted as "European Version." Have done some searches and come up empty. What is definitely a 380mm sized front and rear kit going by the type III (front) rotors only being offered in 380mm sizing. Disc hats are different (color at least) - almost resembling Stop-Tech trophy kit.

I think that might be a very early Brembo kit, one of the first for the E92 M3. I would ask Malek @ MRF about that kit. I believe he recently swapped it out for an AP Racing Essex kit.

Ben your right, it was supposedly an early production kit (IE: the different disc hats). Calipers are a custom paint job by IND.

Knew the setup looked familiar - as I recall seeing an E92 @ MRF w/ identical set.

Thanks for confirmation

That's correct.

Those brakes were removed off the vehicle and it is now running an AP Racing ESSEX kit.

You can order Type 3 discs for US spec Brembo kits for the 380/380mm kits. You cannot order Type 3 for 365/345mm kits.

Malek, thanks for chiming in. Knew it was a 380 based on the Type III front disc, was unclear of specifics on disc hats and by definition what "European Version" meant.

Appreciate confirmation!
