Yes.... before and after my supercharger. The last 5 oil changes i've had 3 Oil analysis reports done through blackstone and no issues found. Completely normal wear for a s65 that is stock.

One cant' deny that boosting a 12.1 CR motor is not good for it. Yes the track record has seem very reliable for boosted cars (even I'm surprised) but let's not try and convince everyone here that putting boost to a car that was never meant for it isn't ideal

Not sure how many miles on Active Autowerke stage 1, Upgraded the injectors (Bosch Green Giants) and new tune. Not a single hiccup!

I've put 12k on my car in last 3 years. 6k was the 535, 3k 625 and 3k 650. I plan to do rod bearings in spring as preventative measures. I bought the 535 from Alex 3 yrs back so my blower has probably 50k on it. I laugh when people think 20k on the blower kits is a lot. The only moving part is the bearings in the blower. Now if this was my DD I probably would only go with a 550kit. If you change your oil often, change plugs every 10k and let the car get to operating temp before you go above 4k, your engine should be ok for a long time.

Can't advocate changing the oil frequently enough... preventative maintenance is key to ensuring any S/C set up lasts. I would recommend every 3k miles and switching to 0w40. I've been running it since I replaced my rod bearings and have been impressed... the motor is much smoother on cold start and revs much less effortlessly...it feels like a N/A car with 600 horsepower.. and its cheap enough to justfy doing 1500 mile oil changes

I've got 16k miles on my Active Autowerke Stage 3. No issues, or maintenance except having to change out the SC belt.

I do find that if one lifts off the throttle at higher revs it does jerk a bit but I think that's probably normal (please let me know if it's not). I also have the issue with the front tire rubbing on the driver's side (actually passenger side over herein the UK). It's worse with winter tires which have chunkier tread and it even started tearing through the plastic arch liner. Not sure whether anything can be done because, as stated above, the ESS air intake pushes out the arch liner a bit further. Jack |

Not sure people have enough miles on their E9X cars, but on the E46 platform there are people with over 100k miles on the ESS superchargers

I remember one guy in particular who has like 210k miles, out of which +100k have been ESS supercharged.
And it's his track car. And he's running a smaller pulley that is not ESS approved. |
