Offset Question

I'm picking up some new winter wheels for my e90 M3. I'm inclined to go with the oem set up but have found some reps that look decent and are half the price.

The front is a 20mm vs oem 29mm offset (18 by 8.5 wheels)

The rear is a 20mm offset vs 23mm offset for oem (18 by 9.5).

In the front it will push the wheels out 9mm - should I be concerned with this?

I'm thinking its not that aggressive a switch so there shouldn't be overly concerned but appreciate any thoughts out there.

The oem winter set up is an 18 by 8 with a 20mm offset.

I have experienced your situation in Nov, 08.
At first I put on after market wheels, and not comfort.
Finally I returned the wheels and installed a set of PA 3 on OEM 18" wheel.
Lately I acquired a set of used BMW OEM Winter Package from Jaypod.
I heard someone from Edmonton have a set of BMW OEM Winter Package for sales
