My DYNO with Fabspeed HFC's and resonated x-pipe

Alright guys so here is the dyno (finally) from my 2008 M3 with the Fabspeed setup. Overall I am pretty happy with the results, though of course a few more hp would have been great. Here is the best info I can provide you with the dyno setup:

-Dynojet
-All runs were performed with a small blower fan at the front of the car with the hood closed
-SAE corrected
-The 20" Klassen wheels were on the car for both sessions
-Dyno runs were performed in 4th gear

Run 005 (blue line): Mods installed were only an aftermarket filter (AFE) and Eisenmann Race muffler

Run 009 (red line): Filter was changed to APE Performance (AFE was dirty). Running Fabspeed High Flow Cats (HFC's) and resonated x-pipe as well as the Eisenmann connecting pipes (section 3).

The runs were done on different days though the conditions were quite similar. Same dyno and same facility. Hope this independent dyno is useful for those looking to get HFC's on their car. Enjoy! Let me know if you have any questions.

SO basically I gained 20whp and 14wtq (peak numbers) with a nice increase in power all the way across the band. The difference is noticeable when driving. Next mods will likely be a tune and underdrive pulley in Spring.

Can you post a video of this not on a dyno? I have the Eisenmann race and want to see another perspective of how loud it is with the fabspeed setup. Thanks!

I did get around to making a video and will post it within a few days. I have not had a chance yet to see it myself; I had another buddy follow me in his e36 M3 and make the video from behind...

I have posted a couple of videos already.

Go towards the end and you can see the Gray E90 dyno run. That is my car with an Eisenmann Sport.

Here are some revving clips:

That's pretty good man... 20whp from just adding the pipe with no tune with no noticeable change in AFR. Is Washington a 91 octane state as well, or do you have 92/93? CEL since install?

No CEL. We have 92 octane but it has 10% ethanol.

i have stock catback and recently purchased fabspeed HFC and resonated xpipe... the car is a lot louder with it under accel, but quiet during cruising. However, my butt dyno can't confirm any power gains.

I have since got stationed in Germany, and also purchased ESS tuner (with their tune for HFC)... I still do not feel any added power. I had a guy (this is not an accurate test), follow me from 100mph to about 120mph and i could not get any distance on him(*I'm a 6psd and he's auto, but i'm a good shifter, so no delay there)... once again, this isn't an accurate test, but i remember when i had my subaru(STG 1, and 2) (and MS3 before that) and i would stack it against a stock car, there would be significant distance seen right off back.
Is there something wrong with my car?

On another note, I am able to hit 200mph... i've only been here 3 months, and the weather has been very random, so I only was able to do it once. Around my base all the roads are curvy, and not enough straights to do it again. 190mph is not too difficult, 150-160mph daily...

The sound is amazing, and you would think it added a 1000 hp, but i just don't see it in comparison to a stock car.
