So in summary, the first group buy only required 3 people, for a price of $400 shipped. This requires 11 people, for $450 shipped? Is the extension made in china also? I'll just wait for it to appear on ebay.

In the first pic it looks like the extension is longer than the side skirt. Is this just the angle of the picture?

In short, your post contributes nothing to what we're trying to accomplish. If you had any inkling as to what I've had to go through to finally get a group buy on these firmed up....Unappreciative people like you make me regret trying to do something for the community. Since you'll be purchasing on eBay, I'm going to go ahead and count you as a "no".

No. As per the vendor "Holes need to be drilled since they can be installed regular or further out for a more aggressive look; we let the customer decide how far in or out and do not pre-drill."

I assume these are the same skirts that I got from forcewerkz? which appear to be similar to the downforce and platte forme skirts?

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=873438

just helping out with the description and some better pics... good luck with the GB..

EDIT: Oh wait.. upon further inspection... these side skirts offered by JGMODS appear to be different than the ones I have and the ones that were linked on ebay.. sorry for any confusion

Interested in E90 version.

Without pre-drilled holes I'm wondering how difficult this will be to line up the skirt, hold it in place, mark the appropriate mounting points with existing screw holes, drilling properly without cracking the skirt and have the final install look exactly right.

Maybe just double sided tape a la rear spoiler?

Thoughts?

I'm planning on making a cardboard template first, lining everything up, marking the holes on the template, then drilling the c/f. The use of the template should eliminate any guess work.

That might work. Looking at other skirts, they are molded/contoured - so the flat cardboard might still have a margin of error...may not be significant to worry about though. The price is very attractive either way.
