2011 DVD map upgrade for 2008 CCC Navi

Hi,

I have a 2008 CCC Navigation with the old 2008 DVD maps. I'm finding some potential deals on ebay to buy the 2011 map DVD upgrades for the CCC.

My questions:
1. I noticed the 2011 now comes with 2 DVDs, if I pop my current DVD out, would it still save my address book?

2. The ones I'm seeing online also offers speed camera locations and speed traps. Has anyone found this feature useful?

3. What should I be careful with when buying this perticular DVD set on ebay? Viruses, pirated versions etc?

I've also noticed a 2011 "Professional" version. The part number is: 65 90 2 199 843
is there another version?

update, I found out all the discounted ones on ebay are all pirated copies. The new disc costs 200 bucks new from dealer.

anyone know if I pop out my current disc, will by address book still be saved?

yeah, i know about the torrent thing. But I don't want to download it due to potential virus issues. I know my anti-virus and internet security softwares may be able to block it or resolve it, but I feel more comfortable to just basically pay someone to pirate me a copy.

That's why I asked to see if there are virus issues that can do damange to our M3's cpu or navi cpu

I used a torrent to go from 2008 to 2009 maps. No problems. Now I have 2010 maps but I did the CiC retrofit so I now have the harddrive based system in my car. Much better deal IMHO. Do it if you can/have the opportunity. GL

i got my pirate dvds. It worked, but i realized it's very hard for me to verify it's acutally the 2011 maps. B/c all the areas I drive in now are not new developments.

I guess i can look up businesses that did not exist in 2008 , and see if they are in my new disc.
