I think only in the E92 and E93. Not E90. At least that was the consensus a few pages back.

If you push the start/stop button, and hold it in for a few seconds, it will turn the radio off.

If you want to reset your CCC, hold in the 2 eject buttons (Nav and CD) and then press the volume knob button on the dash.

Don't do it while driving....should reboot twice.

Why? Just because you can.

What exactly does the CCC reset? Just Nav previous addresses can other Nav related stuff? Radio presets as well? Phonebook? Curious how it compares to resetting your 'key settings', which does pretty much all of the above, plus memory settings as well. Thx.

Just reboots the computer from what I can see....all your "settings" seems to hold.

DCT creep mode in bumper to bumper traffic. Just touch the throttle and release and you will move at the blazing speed of 5mph...shift into 2nd and you will rocket up to 7mph max. Zero need to have pressure on the gas peddle. Sweet.....

Not Cool,- M3 does not have re-chargeable removable flash light in glove compartment...

...my '07 335i had one, which was cool.

So, for example, if you wanted the fan to kick in to circulate air every day at 4:50PM, you'd have to set it every day to do so. There is no global "until I say otherwise" setting. I guess that's to protect the battery should your car be parked for several days.
Is there a way to set this without idrive?

I agree this is nice, but really, how else would they have made it behave?

Keep in mind, a 6MT car will happily cruise along in 1st or 2nd gear with no throttle applied either. Of course, you obviously have to use the clutch to switch between them in that case.

I love how cruise control, increments in 5 mph chunks with that cool red marker that chasing up the speedometer (versus in the "normal" analog way)

For Comfort Access people.... does sticking your key in the slot charge your key? This is what I was told when I bought the car. However, I have since been told that the battery will still need to be replaced periodically (in the manual) - does this mean that, yes it will charge the battery, but as with any rechargeable battery it ultimately needs to be replaced? Or does it mean there is no charging at all and you just have to replace the battery?

No, comfort access has a replaceable battery, not rechargeable.

The comfort access key will not lock itself in the trunk.

I inadvertently (and thankfully) discovered it's idiot proof! Accidently left my keys in my golf bag, tossed em in the trunk and shut the lid (w/ the front doors still locked!). It beeped and opened right back up

I was LMAO and thinkin "man! this car is always bailing me out!" Total bromance moment with the car - like the same one you get when DSC saves your ass haha

Edit: just realized this was first mentioned in post #117 ->> VVV
