Mine says "HIS M3" fiancée M3 said "HER M3" she has since traded in for an X6 and now sports "HER X6". We like the his and hers concept

I've got I1I1III as my vanity plate...only purpose is to make it harder to read for cops, maybe also because it looks cool too, kinda like a bar code. Haha I get a lot of thumbs up for it. I heard DMV in CA won't pass these plates anymore because they finally caught on. lol

I saw a 88 Porsche Ruf turbo plate that read "RUFF LIFE" at LRP back in the day. I found that good for amusement!

A guy I know had MEATMAN and claimed to have gotten lots of 'tang from the tags alone. He owned a butcher shop so slid it by DMV with that explanation.

Behind a guy in Austin today in a Corolla I think. Spurs plate that read "DKHOLE". Very surprised that made it thru, but it made me laugh.

I had them on my M3 (My M3POST username). It suited me cause it wasn't some random phrase but my name and "Beamer" combined along with "M3" into 1 word. So it stood out in a cool way. I was asked many times by strangers what it meant.

Don't have one on the Jag tho.

Nothing pompous or key worthy.

Peeps who think personal plates are dooshy....well, I just don't get it. So they'd rather have the gov't determine what goes on their car? Makes no sense. I can't understand why everybody doesn't choose what they want on their plate. Even if its just some numbers.

Couple of strange reasons why I do a personal plate:

1. Because I can.
2. Why would anyone want a government mandated number plastered on YOUR car???
3. I have OCD and am terrified of odd numbers. Only way to control it!
