That's factory-installed by Individual.

@Technic...I had just ordered an F30 with with tech package ,assist with enhanced bluetooth ,sirius..but forgot to add the bmw apps & snap in adapter/smart phone integraton. this is already 1 week into production

I was told it was late to add it or will have to start fresh.

I would like to know if its possible to add bmw apps after taking the delivery,
From your post it seems like you got the it activated at the bmw dealer first.

Will a coding be sufficient or will a retrofit be required. how much will that cost at the dealer

Will the bmw dealer be able to do this or will i need to get it from bimmertech . the bimmertech site mentions > 600$ for retrofit + activation code. Wwould i need the retrofit, since its pretty new. will the coding only do the job?

Would really appreciate any info on how to activate the apps now?

No dealer was involved in this retrofit. This was done by forum vendor BimmerTech as stated in the thread.

BMW Apps retrofit right now is irrelevant in your particular case, IMO. If I were you then I would cancel this order and get a 2013 F30 -production start in about 45 days.

By the time you get your 2012 delivered it will be a model year old and without features that you want...
