Another - DCT failure
Hey everyone my 08 has less than 2000 miles and Ive got the dreaded DCT failure / Engine cuts to 1/4 Power - Increased Emissions. There seems to be a couple of people experiencing this unfortunately.Im in Los Angeles and the dealer has had my car for nearly 3 weeks .They are saying that these problems are stemming from sensors that are faulty in the transmission .These sensors are on back order in the states and this is why there is delay to get my car fixed and back to me.Apparently there is another M3 in at the same dealership with the same problem .
I am really annoyed at the whole situation - I am paying for a pricey car that I dont even have in my possession.(the 328 loaner just dosnt cut it!) .Has any one else had a similar experience ? |

Odd.......my early DCT (May 08 build) has never done this.....I'm approaching 8000 miles with minimal issues...... including a full day at the track?

I've got the DCT failure prior to the Increased emission warning as well.
DCT works fine afterwards but I'm still getting the CEL with increassed emission. Sigh...
