This thread has gone from being funny to plain laughable. Sorry guys but this appears to be a dick length contest and nothing else.
It is laughable to make a statement that you are not into modding cars but continue to post in a thread about modded cars in which you have nothing of substance or value to add.

What is also laughable is your intial comment about comparing modded vs. stock, most knowledgable enthusiasts see nothing wrong with it whatsoever, in fact it's a great way to measure gains especially against the higher stock HP cars, it's not about what car one may think is better. One may find it extremely impressive that a HPF 2.5 E46 M3 is faster than an Enzo or very close to a Bugatti, 60-130MPH, I would venture that most sports car enthusiasts probably do.

Lastly, it has nothing to do with measuring anything but performance and to refute inaccurate statements made here.

My original comments on this and every thread based on the subject matter of modified vs stock is that it's impossible to be objective, every person has a different opinion on what is classed as a moderate amount of tuning. Look at how this has changed from a question about an E92 M3 with a 'reasonable' but expensive degree of tune vs a stock M5 to now talking about a HPF 2.5 M3 that is almost capable of matching a Veyron, admittedly with not even stock pump fuel but a mix of racing fuel and meth.

I have nothing wrong with modifying your cars or even debating which is the quicker if that is how you get your jollies but it all ends up a debate on who has the biggest dick on the block, with the goal posts constantly being moved to suit the argument.

Maybe the answer is to have it's own section on the forum, a 'modified cars vs' section. It might contain the heated arguments from spilling on to every other related thread as is currently the case.
