When you want to put a race seat, you're not suppose to cheap out. Hence the $2k price point.
You're better off keeping the stock seats than getting something cheap (this is cause the M3 has nice seats. If you were doing it in an older car, then I'm not sure). You're doing it for safety; safety is an area you do not cheap out on. Ever.

Roll bars/cages actually are not useless...personally, for safety alone, it's worth it

personally, i'll go cheap on the seat if it's a race car. cause i'd be getting a Kirkey race seat. IF i'm building a racecar... better believe i could care less if it looks pretty. If it performs then i'm happy. The kirkey is way lighter than almost ANY recaro, sparco or bride seat i've picked up.

Well I don't plan on getting a s/c, so I have no done my research on it. This is an area I'll leave to you
I only mentioned meth as I've seen all the stage 2+ kits (ess gintani aa) use Meth.
I only mentioned meth for cooling purposes, not to make power. If there is a better, I'm sure it's been developed, i Just don't know about it :P
But from what I've read and heard, any stage 1 kit (regardless of whose kit), tracking in extreme heat (95 ambient temps) won't function as well as a NA M3 due to heatstroke etc.
This is true for any engine really (even factory force induction cars) when you think about it (NA will always be better in heat than FI).

But yeah, I'll leave the s/c part to you Jason as my knowledge in it is limited.

Seats are another area I'm unfamiliar with as I don't plan on doing it (I have a convertible for crying out loud lol), but just what I've heard

I don't know about the kirkey.
When I said "cheap" I didn't mean "inexpensive"
I mean cheap as in cheap materials/design. Make sense?

BUT if I did, you would need to put in a cage and attach the harness to that and to the floor
There is a member in the Track section that is going to build a e93 with full track set up.....I'm very excited to see how it turns out

I would have joined you with either but I ate a meatball sandwhich from home. Got save up money for mods I think I may have found my diffuser just have to order it from Germany now lol

What do you think? I would definitely run a tad bigger tip to fill in the gaps better.

slightly mistaken sir... ESS has absolutely NO KIT they sell that comes with Meth. DLSJ5 decided to put a meth kit on cause he had an old one from his E46M3 and his Gintani kit. Cool thing is, that tune doesnt require the meth to run optimally. The meth DLSJ5 put on his car is just an added measure.

Gintani and AA's stage 2 kits, on the other hand, practically require meth to run efficiently. Nothing against that but personally, i'd rather not have my kit relying on the meth

as for the seats... Kirkey definitely isn't cheap in terms of quality... but they are literally #1 in racing seats. I've had Kirkey's in almost each of my drag cars... A little uncomfy for long rides but they have seat padding you can buy haha

it says the price is 399,000 EUR I am assuming they use the comma as we use a decimal point lol or else that would translate to $573,622.013 for a little plastic diffuser. So it's $573.62 then right?
