New M3 owner... question...
Firstly I will post a pic because I know people want to see ...
My question is around some mods... Im looking at purchasing and putting on the following mods : AA Pulley RPI V3 scoops AFE High Performance filter My question revolves around the AA X pipe and free flowing cat and whether it fits with an Eisenmann race exhaust. Any word also on whether AA will be making a header to fit in later and what would you say the total HP and Torque gains would be with all installed (minus the header since there are none available that I have seen yet) Second question : If I get AA to do the CPU as well will BMW be able to know I have chipped the car? Thanks all and I have to say I do love this forum P.s. I have a baby seat in the back and it's extremely EASY getting in and out so those wondering if a coupe is baby seat friendly I would say 100% yes ! |

I am not sure on the Eisenmann because it is a "cut and clamp" exhaust instead of a bolt on. What I do know is that that combo would be extremely loud, as one of those mods will make the car loud.
Brings me to my two questions. If you are going with AA for the pulley and decide to have them chip your car (BMW would find out if they looked, but I don't know if they are looking a reason to), then why go with Eisenmann when you could probably work out a great deal on their exhaust? Secondly, while you are at it, get an AA short shift kit. Hell, if you pay retail for everything else, they will probably throw that in for free.

Thanks for the input BRDHNTR.
The reason I was looking at the Eisenmann race was due to the fact that I love the sound. I may just go AA all the way with the exhaust Im not 100% decided. As far as the short shift kit... I am still undecided on which one... AA or UUC ? What would the overall HP/TQ gains be (guesstimate of course) |
