high mileage m3, plus...

ok i know this has been done before but lets get a more recent one,
1. how many miles do you have on you m3
2. what year is it
3. what mechanical mods do you have done
4. how is it holding up
5. and how long do you plan on keep it for

1. 72xxx
2. 2008
3. ess 535 kit, 4.10 gears, challenge xpipe,
4. amazing with no issues
5. debating selling it, or just keep it long term and retiring it into a track car since its not going to get me what i want anyway

lets see what you have and its doing

So no major issues at 72k miles? What a sturdy car. Hope my X5M fares as well. But after looking at your mileage I'm willing to shed $4xK for a used M3.

Won't put my data because have too few miles, but this thread might make me decide keeping the car long term . Still have 2 full years left of warranty on my '08 with 8K miles to think about it. I'm trying to get something decent for it right now, but doubt it's going to happen. And like it too much to give it away. Have a good one folks.

idk if i were you with that low of miles id keep it, the only reason id sell is because id get a lower milage car... and it would be a 4dr m3, but for the amount id lose its probably better keeping seeing as how its been so reliable

OP, how long have you had your ESS? In other words, I would like to know how many miles you put on your car after the ESS installation

08 DCT, all options except heated seats, 74,200+, no mods no issues. If it's any help consumer reports rates the m3, not the other e92's as very reliable.

1. 58XXX
2. 2008
3. Air filter
4. Idle control valve at 11K miles, DCT reprogram
5. No major issues as of yet. I love this car, and I'm averaging 20 mpg on my 85 mile daily commute. I would like to do the european delivery however the cost is not worth it. I previously owned two 335i and do not trust any turbocharged BMW, so I am skeptical of the F30/F32 M3.

1. 46,xxx
3. Cat back exhaust
4. stellar, no issues what so ever!
5. I'm going to keep it. But I can't decide if I should buy the extended warranty to 100k or use those funds for FI ESS 535 kit lol. I also had a 335 prior and was always worried about the HPFP going out (which I had 2 replaced) along with my turbos and ignition.
