i am not sure how to resond to this thread.

Apology accepted? i am sorry this happened as accidents sucks and I got into one last year. I know exactly what you mean, you keep re-living the moment.

Lately too many M3's have been totalled. My friend pat totalled his 2 weeks ago, and my friend colin destroyed the front of his car before a week that.

The good thing is that in every case, not a scratch.

Glad you are OK and can reflect back on the situation.

Glad you made it out okay. We really obsess over style, functionality, performance.. and forget the obsession to safety BMW has for their products.

Wow. This is one of the reasons why we drive BMWs. I once saw a video from highway safety the they did an offset front end collision between an smart car and a Mercedes benz. The smart car was completely squashed and thrown back about 15-20 feet. The other car (MB c class) just had front end damage. It's a good thing you walked away and that you here not carted off on a stretcher or worse. What's the next car?
