Best paint sealant for wheels?

installing a set of APEX wheels and know they will be a pain to keep clean.

What is the most durable coating to apply? Are ceramic coatings the same as nano sealants?

There are some differences between the two, i have personally used ceramic pro UK with good results, takes time to put it on so set yourself aside a few hours. needs to cure in a nice dry area as well. There are so many ceramic coatings on the market now i couldn't begin to tell you which is "best". Jump into the detail / wash section of the boards and ask Phil over at detailers domain what he recommends.

I appreciate the feedback and will check out that section.

I am looking for a product that is easy to apply, but very durable at the same time.

I personally don't recommend using a coating on your wheels.

They tend to make brake dust cling to the wheel stronger than with no coating.

I have no idea why, but I put CQuartz UK on mine last year and I had to spend much more time getting them clean. I will never coat them again.

On my 220s . I'm happy with the result from Sonax Polymer Netshield .

RejeX was reallly popular on the STI community. I raw it on my STI without issues and allows me to hose off the BBS wheels.

I'd have to agree with doogee on this one, I applied a coating on mine and it seemed to not be as effective as I thought it would be.
I'm guessing its because of the heat that the brakes give off, might be heating up the coating and clinging it on to more dirt.
Either way, I removed the coating and leaving it as is. Note, it was the 220M wheels I was trying to keep clean.

Gyeon Rim on the wheels and brake calipers works well. It is designed to flex with the heat of brakes/wheels. I find it makes removing the brake dust easier. It is not magical, but makes the task of cleaning easier.
