Which Sounds Better?
Looking for a couple of opinions. I think these are the two best for the M3. Anyone disagree?

sorry to all the akra owners, but I think the akra sounds like crap. it has this tinny/hollow sound to it that I don't like. I'm probably in the minority on that as I know many people like it. and that's not to say I wouldn't consider the akra - the weight savings and the aesthetics of the tips are unbeatable, but I chose my exhaust primarily for the sound, so I went with the Eisenmann.

The only way to decide is to hear them in person. Maybe if you go to your regional section, you can get someone with each to meet up with you.

I would pick Eisenmann Sport/race over Akra slip on any day. Although if we are talking about the Full Akra evo system then it be hard to choose. But then again its not a fair comparison then is it.

Quality wise, it is hard to argue that these are not two of the best, if not THE best exhausts for the M3. Sound is another factor and every exhaust sounds a little different and that comes down to personal preference. I can say that, IMO, the Akra is the best looking exhaust, period. Very nice tips, tucked canisters, all four tips actually function. Bottomline is that you will be well served with either and really can't do much better unless you want a quieter/less bassy exhaust and then you are looking at the new M Performance Exhaust.

when I purchased my Eisenmann Race, I hadn't really looked into the Akra system simply because I thought the Eisenmann sounded that good. I had been an avid Eisenmann fan since I was in high school, haha.
I agree with Jesal that apples to apples, the Akra slip-on doesn't do it for me compared to the Sport/Race Eisenmann offerings, though the full Akra system is pretty sweet - well made, sounds good, reduces weight, good gains, etc (though a lot of money). I actually think I like the Le Mans tips on the Eisenmann more than the Akra to be honest and am partial to the race noise. I later coupled it with a Challenge X-Pipe and couldn't be happier.
