Couldn't live without my M
Newbie to the forum. Had a Z4M convertible. Had a kid, bought a 750 sold the M. 750 was unbelievable saloon but it wasn't the same. Missed the feel of a real sports car so I picked this up this weekend. 2011 M3 convertible, fully loaded (I think, couldn't imagine what it is missing). Wow this is a great car! Way different to the Z4M.
Posted a few pics of the cars. Would love to know what people have for 2nd car (assuming we aren't all single!) Currently I have a full size RR. Great vehicle but looking for something newer and I can't afford the new RR. Maybe a Cayenne or Q5. Only mods I am looking to do on the M is changing the wheels to a gunmetal vs the cheap flat back paint. Maybe getting rid of the chrome (shadow line trim). FWIW the RR has been one of the most reliable trucks I have ever owned. Simply one of the best SUVs on the road |

Noticed you've got the clear reflectors... just changed mine yesterday from the horrible stock orange to matching white. I was torn between clear and painted... heard the clear often yellow and take on water... be on the look out. (yours def. looks better than stock!)

Second car is the incredibly reliable, heartless, soulless, ginourmous Lexus SUV. Perfect foil to the M or any sports car that could develop bipolar disorder. No amount of wife/child mistreatment upsets me. They are for all intents and purposes banned from the M.

Mods will start after the visit and I was ignoring to look into the reflector change to white. Did you tape it or replace it altogether? |

Very nice! I drive a ford fusion for a daily driver...while the M sleeps in the garage. I couldn't live without the M either!

Dave, I too missed my first ///M3 (was a e46) traded her for a Z4 e85 then traded that for a Z4 3.5is … fine car just not an ///M3 so went back to an ///M3 e92.
There is nothing that feels like the ///M car of course, in my case I had to give her up due to family issues. Now driving the MB E350 Coupe as my DD my toy is now a 44 year old Benz … you see once you reach my age speed becomes a low priorety family values are number 1. Drive safely and welcome to the ///M3 community … some great folks here.
