Picking a color
Wow, i never thought it would be that hard. I ordered a 2011 e92 m3 yesterday, but i can't decide which color to go with. I love white, but my last 2 cars were white, i'm leaning toward Melbourne red or Monte Carlo, i'm in Canada and they will order that color. Anybody living in BC that has those colors, seeing them in person might help me make my decision

I would order Monte Carlo, hands down. I wish they offered that as a standard color choice here in the States.

OMG!!! I am in the same exact boat! I put in an order for a 2011.5 E92 M3 w/DCT/ZCV,ZCP - Alpine White on Fox Red. Within 36 hours after ordering, I changed my exterior color from AW to Space Gray. Now, after seeing the white again, I am back to AW. Then again, I really don't want AW, because everyone one and their brother has one.
I would really like to see LeMan Blue in person, as that might be just the color I need. HELP!!!!!!!!! |

I have a Melbourne Red M3 and the Monte Carlo Blue is pretty good but after seeing a Jerez Black on Fox Red I can only recommend that color combo.

Silverstone II is a unique M color, plus easy to keep up. But I'm lazy and with a new kid, not much time to go out rubbin on the car.

I am in Kelowna and there is a Monte Carlo Blue E92 around here, and he is active on this site. Looks very sharp.
I have the AW in the E90 body. Love it. I might be tempted to go the Mel. Red if I were ordering tho. Get the color YOU like best and ignore the chatter.

If you don't want to go Individual than I'd say Melbourne red...... it is probably the least common Non-Individual colour on an M3! Personally I'd love a Melbourne Red on Fox Red Extended with Carbon Leather trim. MR/FR may seem like too much red but I seen it in person and it is beyond beautiful!
Maybe you should consider an Individual Paint colour...... You can get almost any BMW colour ever done (with a few exceptions. How about Individual Brilliant white? That might be good for you seeing as you like white but don't want Alpine white! |

I'm not asking people to tell me which color to get, i was just stating i'm having a really hard time making my mind. But i'm definitely leaning towards MR and rusty brown extended leather.

MR looks gorgeous as well. i came across a used 2009 MR that i considered before i changed my mind and decided to go for 2011 with ED delivery. Selecting a color or options feels streneous but it is part of the experience. Good luck.

Please do not get MR, I prefer to keep my color exclusive and as rare as possible.
Do not click the link in my signature. Also do not get rust interior, because I wanted that but could not have it. Thanks, Mr Selfish
