Tint in VA?

I'm in the Virginia Beach area and am looking for a reputable shop to tint the M. Anyone have their M tinted around here? What percentage tint did you get, and do you get messed with at all by the cops? From what I've read, it's 50% front and 35% rear. Sound right to you all?

Thanks fellas,

Andrew

Ok I know a guy in Newport News and hes not that expensive. I also know that some bestbuy stores in the area are starting to tint windows too. I've heard that TNT Tinting is pretty good too. Also the 50% front and the 35% rear is true if you want to stay in the legal limit.

Not sure about VA Beach, but I had mine done at LA Tint in Manassas. If you're willing to drive for a quality job (sorry, but I'd never let someone from Best Buy touch my car), you could hit them up. They have the F1 Pinnacle ceramic tint too, which is why I looked them up.

It was quite a drive for me from the Fort Lee area, but well worth it. He did a great job.

If you don't care about the legality, he will still hook you up, but you gotta do cash and he won't give you a receipt, for obvious reasons. I got him to do 35% all around (minus the front windshield) and he did a great job, even on the tough back window with the dot matrix. I was never messed with by cops either. 35% isn't as dark as you think.

Nice! I'll look them up. Did you go with the F1 Pinnacle ceramic, or the regular? Do you mind sending me a PM of your tint set up?
