Can I retrofit my Schroth Quick Fit Pro to fit e90m3?

Is it possible to (or has anyone) retrofit an e46 Schroth Quick Fit Pro
http://www.schrothracing.com/store/T...it-pro/qfp-bmw
http://www.schrothracing.com/imgView...oInstalled.jpg

To fit my e90m3?

Or is there a 4-point belt that fits OE e90m3 Seats (Schroth or not)?

Nothing "safe" available yet. I'm using a CG-lock, which is not exactly safe.

Quick Fit Belts

Thanks for checking in with us on this. The quick fits are a very important part of our business since we came out with them. The problem is we need to do seatback testing for each model car we have a belt. When we did our initial introduction of belts the seats where tested in Germany now we need to test all new models we want made here in the states. The good news is we finally have the test lab to do these test for us so by next spring we should have a bunch of new belts on the market. The E90 is first on the test block so as soon as we have results we will get production rolling in Germany. The bad news is the 911 will not be getting a quick fit belt because the seats do not have holes for the shoulder belts to pass through. The only option for the 911’s is to get aftermarket seats with a harness bar or a roll bar. Please keep an eye on our site we will make it very clear once the E90 belts are on the way to us.

Thanks again

I think problem with quick fit belt now is due to BMW changing the belt receptacle size, so the click in part wont even click into the belt harness.
Other option is to buy two of the bolt in sides so a regualr 4 pt Profi II and just bolt it in, but you would than have to live with it being in the car all the time. I don't mind, I'll just roll them up and zip tie them until days I'm at the track.
Running the Pole Positions with only a 3=pt was stupid but it helped a lot for staying in place

They're designed to be run without a cage.

Really? I dont think so, my belts are camlock 5/6 point belts and as far as I know they are only safe when using in conjunction with a roll cage..I could be wrong though.

I think there is some confusion here......

Niterider, you have a bolt-in or welded cage, correct?

This thread is specifically for guys that would like to use the Schroth Quick Fit system
which allows you to have a 4-point belt system WITHOUT a cage (of any kind)....

This is obviously mostly to keep the driver harnessed and stable during cornering and braking and I doubt adds or removes any safety attributes already built in to the car.

Oh ok, that makes sense, yeah I had quick fit harness on my previous e46 m3. Well ill try to post some pics of my set up today. A little too extreme for many but I basically need it for safety.

Looks good! Which rollbar is that, if you don't mind me asking, or is it custom made?
I sold my leather Pole Positions to get something FIA approved (material) and move into a different seat possibly, so I'll be looking into rollbars again and possibly just weld one in

Thanks, Its a custom Chromolly cage. Adrian is the name of the fabricator who made it, he goes by Pro cage. Their still some more work that needs to be done on it but I havent had time to take it back to him.
