Gintani race is REALLY loud. Good price though if you are for "wake-the-neighbors" loud.

OP ask for suggestions on a "Sport" exhaust and then says he's getting a Race.

You may or may not end up re selling that race exhaust if you purchase it, but why go take the chance.

price is definitely good for the megan, unfortunately sound is way too subjective and independent it's hard to say/measure. I've read a few FS posts for megan exhausts where they say it's too loud/too much drone...so who's to say if the OP will like it..
hopefully the OP has or will hear some exhausts in person so he can make his own decision...

Off the top of my head the only exhausts that are in your price range are: Magnaflow, Remus, possibly RPi, Megan, and possibly the Corsa.
If you want something used I just noticed this thread in the Southwest section (I have no affiliation with the seller what so ever): http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=539274 Last edited by JerryK73; 06-09-2011 at 10:18 PM.. Reason: added link |

Take a look at the REMUS US Sound exhaust. I really like the way that thing sounds and it has some attractive carbon fiber on those nice sized tips. Just another option for ya.

I heard chillicheese's's B&B today at rest and under load from behind and I'm very impressed, and surprised it's not more popular. It's deeper and louder, but not obnoxiously loud. It would be easy to live with.

You can pick up UUC Corsa on their website for $1359 when on sale. I've had this exhaust for over a year, and I love it. Aggressive with absolutely no drone.
