To all the So CAL guys!!!!

I have spent the last week in So Cal and I have to say that I'm in love!!! You guys live in paradise. I came to visit my sister in San Diego and traveled to the vineyards, to Julian and to other places. I cannot describe how beautiful this place is and how amazing the driving roads are. I am thinking about driving the M from Florida to here but I hate putting so many miles on it. Anyways, I wanted to share my awesome experience. I will add some pics later when I get home that I took of the scenery and a couple of her unmodded 328. I wanna move here so bad!!!!!

it certainly has its faults, but the roads here are awesome for daily driving... especially in orange county.

OC roads are not that great. crowded and poorly maintained IMO. not as bad as here in DC, but i still wouldn't say that they are awesome for daily driving.

Really? Aside from the cops, I honestly can't imagine much better roads than Irvine. Every street seems to have 4 lanes and smooth pavement. I blast through them at lunch. Granted, there are few great views in Irvine, but PCH into laguna is pretty great as is ortega highway.

Then again, I got my M3 pretty soon after moving here so maybe its just the car.

The roads are maintained well in Irvine, but a lot of times there is debris on the road. My guess though it's from the new construction going on all the time. And the wind..

The freeways are really good in OC, as soon as you go north to LA county it gets narrow and crappy.

Are you kidding? Take the 5 North from the OC to LA and you'll see how that freeway just goes to crap. I know it's an interstate, but the OC section is WAY nicer than the LA section.
Surface roads are also much nicer in the OC than LA.

The State is just too broke right now because of the dumbassess in Sacramento don't have to ballz to FIRE PEOPLE, and the past Governer gave out CRAZY contracts to the police and firemen. The teachers also do pretty well here. That was ALL politically driven and still is.

Man, that's a first! OC roads are amazing. Wide open, kept well. Come to my area (W. Los Angeles) so you can what a bad road really is! LOL

There does seem to be alot of crap on Jeffrey these days.
But in general Irvine and South OC have got some of the nicest roads around. Realized that when I moved up to South Bay, where the roads are crap and I need to keep it in comfort mode all the time.
