Nice! Wasn't a fan of the 370z's looks at first but it has recently grown on me. That yellow looks great.

wow!! i love everything about it except the cheap plastic panels, but that's expected.

nice work nissan!!!

i wish the brake rotors were more appealing than that, and the brakes were a tad bigger.

they even shaved the fenders so no one needs to roll them or anything. that's awesome!

i dont like adding the new shit to 6MT like the lights indicating the gear, and the rev-matching but i have to admit they're making it super fucking easy to the dumbest motherfuckers to enjoy driving!!!

good value for 30K base, like the looks for the exception of the rear 1/4 shot, looks sort of like a crossfire.

if I was on budget this would be the car to buy!! Of course that's w/o driving it. Last HR motor I drove had gobs of top end but was so rough up top I couldn't really enjoy it.

1/4 mile is not very impressive considering it weights 3300lbs.

A manual trans with a gear indicator on the dash? Nice. I really wish BMW had done that on the M3.

Rev Match 6MT?

I'm wondering about the rev match 6MT? Does it work well?

No kidding. I'm looking forward to hearing more. That sounds pretty nifty, but I imagine it would take some getting used to. I just found out recently that my 330i rev-matches upshifts when using cruise control. I never knew that, and it is a little weird not to have the revs drop all the way when you put in the clutch. Rev-matching downshifts would be a bit eerie, I think.

The article says it will blip accurately for a 5-2 downshift -- wow. I can't imagine having enough faith in the car to not blip the throttle at all when making that shift.

Hate the wheels (..I prefer the previous Rays wheels on the 350z), but it seems to be a decent car. I'll pass on Nissan though; my previous G35 killed it for me.

What for? Why do you need to see the gear you're in? When I'm driving a manual I always know what gear I'm in. The feel of where the shifter is my best indicator.

I really like this car for a daily driver -- Japanese reliability, good speed and a 19 gallon gas tank!!

BUT rev-matching on the downshift for the manual???? NO WAY. That would be a deal-killer. I do the blipping myself, thanks. Can this be disabled?? Completely bogus feature and what manual buyer would want it? If you want the car to do the work for you, then buy an automagic. I don't know of any stick driver who would want that feature. Put rev-matching on a dual clutch and other auto-type trannys, fine. But not on a REAL manual!! Nissan you ruined it for me. Evo X GSR is still at the top of my list.

(1) It can be disabled.

(2) I drive MT and I have an open mind about this feature. I don't know if I'd use it, but it would be neat to try IMO. I'd rather have it as an option than not have it at all. See my post above -- article says it can even perfectly rev-match a 5-2 shift, every time. Try that under hard braking.

I am surprised at the resistance to this 'rev matching technology'. To most people I would have thought this was a god sent, especially on the track where the majority of users are once maybe twice a year jacks.

Can't say I am won over with the looks be with all I have read about the car it seem to be very impressive and should be a good rival/competition to the 335i and Z4, though I can't see how some member believe the 330i is quicker, that opinion is just plain wrong.

But my feet have A.D.D. I mean when my left foot is using the clutch, my right foot wants to do something too. I rarely heel and toe on the street, but I do blip and downshift (to accelerate) all the time.

Good to hear it can be disabled. Looks like if you buy a "strippy" without the sport package it doesn't include synchro-rev.

Cool then, another car to think about buying that interior looks like it would keep me entertained for a long time!

Interesting. It's not bad looking on the outside, but the interior is terrible. Plastic fisher price cluttered mess. It is almost like they just kept slapping bits and pieces onto it until they couldn't fit any more. But then... I'm not their target demographic.
