So do the blue blobs on the V4s only appear on certain color settings or are they there on all settings?

There are blue highlights even at 5k, but I find it attractive.

Thats actually not possible... at 5000K the Blue LED's are not on so only the White LED's are on. from 5200k and up the Blue LED's turn on and different levels depending what the setting is.

Well, of course you are correct. The toggle positions are counterintuitive visually. I found they came preset to 12k, not 5k. So no blue is visible at 5 or 5.2k.

Very difficult to capture the angel eyes on camera, but will definitely give it a try. Thanks for the lights!

Make sure the picture is taken outdoors with plenty of ambient light. That will make it much easier.

Great experience with Lux. Install was fairly easy as it does take patience to get the bulbs in and tightened with the small space that BMW provides.

Prompt 2 day shipping

Comparison of stock bulb

5700 setting

Will the flicker issue be addressed in a future release?

Thanks for the reply. I have your Lux V3 and they are great however I will consider changing to your new version once the flicker issue gets resolved.

Just installed these and love the end result! I am secretly mad at BMW for upgrading all the base 3 series to white angel eyes but left the top of the line M3 to the ugly yellow halogens so had to do this mod.

Installation is a pain....at first. Thanks to everyone on here that posted installation hints to make it much easier. The hardest part is getting the Lux bulb into the final position within the housing since there is no room to wiggle your hands around. I tried at first to use only my fingers and hands and struggled but resorted to Nitrogen's post #127 to use the tape method to tape the bulb to the wire and lower into the housing while ensuring the bulb faces towards the front. Then used my finger to guide the bulb into the socket while pulling on the wire. It was difficult using my two fingers on one hand to get enough torque to twist clockwise into the locked position so used two hands (one on each side) to twist the bulb clockwise into place. I removed the tape prior to closing the hood.

Also need to pay attention to the orientation off the stock bulb so you can twist the Lux ones on the first try clockwise.

Passenger side took 3 minutes once I did the drivers side. Much easier the second time around. Played around with the temperature settings and landed on 5200k.

Thanks LUX!
