My new E92
Well I sold my highly modified Jet Black 08 E90 last July. I had no intention of purchasing another E9x at that point but I definitely ended up missing the car. I picked up a 2011.75 LMB E92 a couple weeks ago. Finally had a chance to snap a picture after putting in the gloss black grills, gills, and color matching reflectors. (Thanks IND for the quick turn-around as always)
I am sure many mods are to come but for now I'm enjoying the upgrades from my 08 car. DCT, Comp pack suspension, idrive, etc. I have to admit I was always a 6MT smack talking guy but after my first few weeks in DCT I'm not going back. |

Congrats, I love your new M3! So you were one of those guys. Funny, I sold my e92 DCT, missed it so much I bought another, this time a 6mt. 6mt is fun but DCT is intoxicating! If only I could shift the 6mt as smooth and fast as DCT, not to mention perfect rev matching every shift...enjoy your new ride, she's a looker!

Kinda of a dumb question. But in the DCT can you rev it up then put it in gear and spin the wheels like in a manual transmission? Or will that tear up the tranny?

Yeah you can use launch control to rev it up freely when at a stand still. I have never actually launched it but I did rev it to make sure I knew how.
