Thanks for the heads up! That's ALMOST what I want -- except it has the aluminum trim inside... I wonder how much a carbon fiber trim kit would run me?

I probably just wrap the trim myself. But that's just me. Since I don't want to spend a lot to just have the carbon look. Beside it doesn't look bad with that stock trim :x

You can source a used Carbon Leather trim kit for $300 from the forums, $395 for one taken off a brand new car.

I wouldn't compromise on the CF roof though, every time I wash the car it just makes me smile...

Ah thanks for the feedback... Yeah, I think I'm going to move carbon fiber roof to the "must have" section. Is seems like its really that great!

So you're open to other colors as well, correct? Since SG was only made in 2008.

Goodluck finding one.

Yup, I really like Sparkling Graphite, but since it isn't available after 2008, I'd be open to Space Gray. Not quite as dark as Sparkling Graphite, but it will work.

Just got myself a Sparkling Graphite E92 with Bamboo Beige interior. That was actually a really rare car to find. Good luck!

Congrats on your Sparkling Graphite E92! They are hard to find... and when you do find them they're either convertibles (ugh) or have 100,000 miles.

Thanks for the heads up and good luck with the sale. Unfortunately, I'm only looking for Sparkling Graphite or Space Gray.

I had roughly the same criteria as you apart from the transmission (I'd be happy with both). Bamboo Beige interior just completely turns this car into a classy machine. Can't wait to take delivery!

Off-topic but here are 2 pics:

I have a 6spd Sparkling Graphite Grey Coupe with 25k miles on it and I LOVE it. I recently looked into trading mine for a newer one but I don't like any of the newer colors enough to do so.

What do you guys think of this one? Overpriced for the miles? It doesn't have the carbon fiber roof though...

While I was dead set on the CF roof, I have to say that on a Sparkling Graphite E92, it's not THAT important since the darker color kind of hides it anyway.

I'm sure you can come down a bit on the price. I didn't get that great of a deal on mine, but I really wanted CF roof, the car had all the options I wanted and was a 1 owner car. So is this one it seems like.

Maybe 37 if you can live with the sunroof?

You really scored on your car!

I wish I knew of where to get a production report that showed how many E92 M3's were produced with DCT, CF roof and Sparkling Graphite... then maybe I could better judge my chances of finding one.

Thanks, I really did. And it just happened to be in Los Angeles, your backyard

Let me put it this way. I was so set on getting a Melbourne Red, although I was keeping an eye on all colors just to gauge the price. This car showed up on Sunday, and it was enough for me to change my mind instantly. Snapped the car up yesterday. They are RARE if you ask me. But then again, it depends how desperate you are to get into an M3. If you don't have to settle, don't.
