Euro/Amber indicator tail lights

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the BMW Community, as I just placed an order for a U.S. Spec M3 Coupe today.

I'll be living in the UK for the next 2 years, and returning to the states with the M3; however, in order to get an SVA, I am required to get amber indicator tail lights, and also a fog light switch assembly.

Does anyone know of any BMW part stores that would have these items for sale at good prices? The US BMW dealership in Suffolk tells me that BMW in Bury St. Edmunds will charge me £500 for the lot. I'm not sure if that's a good price; however, I'm thinking they can be had cheaper.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Chris.

Most Euro parts can only be sourced from the European dealers. The US dealers don't have access to get the parts you need. My guess is that it will be easier for you to get the parts in the UK.

I agree. Just need to find the right place to order them. I can't believe they want almost $700 in the USA for them. I believe that comes with a kit; however, from the sound of it, I should only need the outer tails.

About £500 fitted sounds about right. You'll probably also need the rear fog light fixed up, too.

It's just a inside light switch replacement right?

So are there any UK based BMW parts stores that are good to deal with? Can anyone recommend anyone online?
