six tenths of a percent isn't much. i don't think anyone is arguing the mechanical bias of the brakes being a problem.

The bias shift towards the front is 3.8% if I'm reading it correctly

Well read back through the posts there are a few people speculating the bias is all out of whack, but its not.

Anyway you could easily put a much bigger caliper on the rear and not worry about bias

All you have to do is install a bias adjuster valve on the rear master cylinder line and then you could run what ever bias you like

are you referring to bias in the sense of mechanical clamping force? i don't think thats much of an issue with the rear, and its not like the fronts are some crazy size, so i don't think there is a problem.

i don't know if people were actually saying the bias was doubtful? for me at least, i just wanted to see that AK had actually ran calcs and they never chimed in with that info. so thank you for actually posting those numbers up!

i also was weighing in the costs of getting this kit vs a slightly used stoptech 60/40 kit for cheaper.

I'll be speaking with him later today and voice some of the concerns that came up as I was looking to import some of these kits to Australia

I'm not pointing people out who said what

These kits are great for the money and want to clear up any speculation and doubts of its functionality or performance

With double demerits and the popo everywhere I wasn't going to risk it over the break

Akmotorsports.net for the pricing if you order pay in US dollars works out cheaper

I'll post up some new pics soon

Spoke to albert today finally, took awhile as one of his family members was sick

He is making a new v2 of the rear kit with a bigger pad and different caliper and all orders that are made from now.

This is similar to what it should look like

This is an oem Porsche caliper with a stock oem pad adapted to our rotor

Any idea on pad price/selection in comparison to the brembo calipers?

The Porsche calliper is a brembo

There is a large selection of pads to choose from the hawk range I'll post up some links tomorrow

http://www.hawkperformance.com/parts-search

Front pads look up the AUDI R8 2010 and it gives you

High Performance Street 5.0 - HB609B.572

HPS – High Performance Street - HB609F.572

HP Plus - Autocross & Track - HB609N.572

Blue 9012 - HB609E.572

HT-10 - HB609S.572

DTC-70 - HB609U.572

DTC-60 - HB609G.572

DTC-30 - HB609W.572

Performance Ceramic - Luxury & Touring Compound - HB609Z.572

That is just for the front and the rear has about the same just have to wait for
Albert to see what caliper I end up with
