Teaser: TE37SL On a Dirty AW E92
Thanks: To Julius and company at WheelSTO (Chicago) for getting the wheels, and thanks to Megawheelz (Toronto) for getting the tires.
Disclaimer: I just got my tires mounted today, the weather was crappy here in Toronto, and I have absolutely no camera skills. I also know I need a drop, but I had an EDC malfunction at 600KM and only have 3200KM on the car now, so I want to wait a while before I drop. Enough people asked for me to post some pics, so i've gone ahead, against my better judgment. Wheels: Volk TE37SL - 9.5" +22 front - 10.5" +20 rear Tires: Michelin PS2 - 265/35/18 front - 295/35/18 rear Again, I apologize for the crappy pictures. Once the weather gets better, I'll clean up the car and take some more pictures. Oh, and I like the decals on the wheels. They came with the wheels, but weren't on them. ** Update: Some more pics on post 17. Last edited by sawzall; 09-29-2010 at 06:14 PM.. |

Glad you clarified about the stickers. Huge fan of the wheels not so much the sticker. Might be downsizing to these by next season.

They look good and the tire sizing is pretty dead on.
I can't wait to see some nice pics. may be I should ask Johan to make the trip to Toronto. He would love to take pics of the car!

The fitment is great. It's about as aggressive as you can possibly get. It looks pretty beefy on all four corners. From what I can tell 295 is about as big as you can go on the rear with a 35 profile. There's no rubbing, but then again i'm still at stock height. |

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."

Can you take a side-profile shot of the car? Really interested in seeing the front wheel gap to see if this would annoy me on stock suspension.
thx so much |

One thing to note is that i'm going to get longer wheel bolts. Given the offset, you lose about 5mm-7mm of bolt thread depth. My OEM locking bolts actually didn't grab the hub well with these wheels. Last edited by sawzall; 10-02-2010 at 10:30 AM.. |

I took over a dozen new pictures, and these two are the only ones that came out.

thank you man - so much appreciated. been looking for a 265/35 side profile.
i guess the angle is important because straight on i don't find the gap to be that big...imo. very liveable without a drop thanks again |
