I have a prospective buyer of a my 08 m3 wheels, he has a 2011 m3. He basically wants the wheels for the track and doesnt care much about tpms, he just wants to make sure the car wont go into limp mode. If he puts the my 08 rims/tpms on his 11 m3 will the car go into limp mode? will it just flash a warning for "low tire pressure"?

It won't go into "limp" mode but he will have his TPMS sensor going off.

no limp mode since its only a sensor for air, and yes warning sign will show up. since 08-09 are not compatible for 10-11.5 models
