I think there's a vendor on here with an aluminum "scrape" plate.
Any idea who this vendor is?

Looks great! And I'll have to do some digging to see which vendor it is that's running the plate on their personal vehicle.

I saw MRF running a metal skid plate, but that was a GT4 lip (which is really not for me). Like I said, the V1 lip it's a smaller issue, just be careful with it.

It's literally a piece of thin sheet metal cut to the shape of your lip. Anyone could build it themselves

Indeed. I'm gonna try the plastidip route first. Then I was gonna go all "gangsta" and cut myself a plate so I can throw sparks like the bagged VW's around here.

Shouldn't be too complicated. I think Lowes/Home Depot sell thin sheet metal.

Exactly. Buy some sheet metal and some metal shears, trace out the lip, cut it out, bolt it up or 3m it to the underside of lip

edwinm3, can you take a front view picture. I am close to ordering the V1 lip for my M3. I believe it would be good contrast to the MR (as with your vehicle). Thanks.

Got rid of my PITA lip and now I am in the market and in the exact same place you were...
GTS or Challenge....??? LOL
They both look great, was the fitment perfect on the V1?
I am really looking for the most aggressive looking but in the pics they appear to be almost the same except that the GTS does not come around to the wheel wells...is there any other differences? Does the Challenge come down lower?
Which one looks more aggressive to everyone?

With all due respect, the challenge will be lower and more "challenging" than your previous lip. The mode carbon v1 and v2 will both be better options for clearance purposes. The challenge lip is extremely aggressive and looks awesome when parked. It also depends on how low you are.

I think a brand new mode lip just came up for sale on here btw.

Challenge is definitely more aggressive, one of the reasons why I chose the V1, more clearance and great fitment.
