Just curious what people like. Let me know if I forgot a brand and I can add it.

EDIT: Oops I thought I could add poll options.. guess not.

I have the AA Green...very good filter, but I put the stock back in since I was tired of the intake resonance at ~3k RPM. It's nice to be able to hear my exhaust over the intake again; I forgot how quiet the cabin was stock

I wasn't aware that you could hear that much extra induction sound with these, can you all comment on how much was added? Thanks.

I made the exact same switch too. That sound at low RPM was annoying the hell out of me. Couldn't be happier with the stock filter now.

Personally speaking, the added volume was noticeable with the AA. It was mildly louder dd'ing below 3k rpm but only when you tried to accelerate in the 'wrong gear'; it only really bothered me when it would 'resonate' at around 3k - 3.5k rpm: enough to the point where it began drowning out the exhaust. It wasn't obnoxious or anything, but I just prefer the quieter stock filter.

Well, the $90 filter makes just as much difference as the $900 (or more) full intake. No intake mod is going to make "a lot" of difference. Throttle response is a touch better IMO.

I have the AA green filter. You can definitely hear the air "sucking" more (for lack of a better term) The sound is more aggressive. I really haven't experienced the resonance that people are speaking of. It just amplifies the sound of an already nice sounding motor. It is in no way excessively loud or obnoxious like some exhausts can be. No regrets whatsoever.

I love induction sound, I kind of grew up with it since most people had open element filters when I was a kid. Increasing this would be all to the good for me with my only reservation being the often reported resonance in the 3k ish range.

AA green - I enjoy the slightly increased induction sound. I never experienced the flutter others report. This was prior to installing the Fabspeed x-pipe and HFC and that's mostly what I hear now - love it.
