Wow....

It seems deals are still to be had down south, especially when you are car shopping in the exotic market!

1. In the US
http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...standard=false

2. In Canada, the same vehicle!
http://listings.boostmotorgroup.com/...=0&RowNumber=1

But, still beautiful car, surely the replacement for the M3 CAB

I know, both cars are at non-ferrari dealers, so you can negotiate for sure!

And both of them are brand new with less then 1000 miles

And I am pretty sure, you could sell the US California for roughly the $250K mark in a year from today

Its so tempting

Try importing a Ferrari into Canada & think you are getting a good deal. The last time I did that was on a 360Spyder and the cluster was over $10000 + the joy of getting jerked around by Maranello. The RIV rules on Ferrari's mean that the car has to made Canadian complient at the dealer.

http://www.tc.gc.ca/roadsafety/safev...see_notes_.htm

See explanations section.

Ferrari North America, Inc. requires that importers contact an authorized Canadian Ferrari dealership to determine exact nature and costs of modifications and specifies that ALL modifications MUST be performed by an authorized Canadian Ferrari dealership.

For recall letter, contact Ferrari North America, Inc. in U.S.A. at 1-201-816-2600 after vehicle inspection. Modifications must be performed by an authorized Canadian Ferrari dealership.

For Ferrari dealership information, please visit www.ferrariusa.com

Besides,It is a Girls car as my wife thinks it is a "cute" car.One parks in her area at work. She thinks the GT3 that parks there is a waste of time,so that should be my next carCorrect?

Hah, I totally agree... the California is pretty weak compared to the rest of their lineup, seems like a compromise car for the US market not to mention the styling is 'awkward' to say the least from the rear 3/4 angle. For the money there are far better cars to be had (ie. F430, Gallardo).

And for the record I've seen two so far in Toronto, one was driven by a 60+ gentleman (no offense to anyone) and the other was indeed female driven.

Which Maserati?

The GranTourismo is a beautiful looking car, so I dont know which maserati you talking about?

http://www.condenastdirect.com/gq/co...n_maserati.asp

The California has its place, but I mean as with all convertibles, they do appeal to women as well

But in its competition I think the DBS would probably be my second choice

The F430 and the Gallardo are starting to look dated now, infact the new 458 Italia is the clear choice if you are looking in that market niche!

However, if you are looking at used then obviously you can buy a F430 or Gallardo for the price of the new california.

But honestly, if you want a 4 seater grand-tourer convertible, nothing beats the california

I mean the DBS is nice as well, but I wouldnt waste my money on the lambo especially if I am picking any of these three cars new!

The GT3 would be a track car,the M3 does a great job as an everyday fun car that can be used quite well on track.

This is a car that never should have been built from Ferrari.
I personally can't stand it.

FYI: No Manual Gearbox for Ferrari 458 which sucks!

Hey I think thats a bit harsh

I mean its had good reviews, but if you dont like the design then thats a different story, I do sorta agree it maybe a bit bland relative to the rest of the lineup.
