Foam cannon soap? (Zaino User)

I am looking for a soap that will not strip Zaino that I can use during the "pre-wash phase" (spray on with my foam cannon, let dwell and then pressure wash off).

Z-7, although expensive, works great when I foam cannon the car for the second time in preparation for the actual wash as it has great lubrication but it does not seem to have a very strong detergent and doesn't cut off much of the grime during the pre-wash phase.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Something you can get in bulk, Chemical Guys or Meguiars...

Usually when I "foam" a car I AM using it to strip off prior LSP.

You can skip this step you know?

What's a decent priced foam gun? I don't love the Griot's one I have now.

I'm trying to get as much dirt off as possible before I rub the car with a wash mitt in order to minimize inducing swirls.

Does anyone have experience with chemicals guys citrus wash and gloss? Will that strip zaino?

Any Chemical guys Citrus based wash will strip. It may be lighter at lower concentrations but they are designed to strip wax. You may want to go with Maxi-suds if you want something for regular washing.

I use Zaino products on my cars and IF I need to foam it I use this and have achieved good results with their own foam gun.

The owner of Chemical Guys (Paul) himself has told me that they use it to strip LSP's.

Glossworkz is a great soap though. Very little is needed to get a nice amount of foam with high lubricity.

not trying to argue with you here but why would it be advertised as a ph neutral shampoo then? that's extremely false advertising and I've confirmed with Greg at Detailed Image before on glossworkz on if I were to use more than the recommended amount and that it would only had more suds and lubricity. Also after doing a quick search there seemed to be no set answer but it looks like glosswrokz leans towards the side of the non lsp stripping shampoo. cg has more dedicated products to strip lsp anyway

Glossworkz does look like a maintenance wash-type product... probably some mix of their other shampoos with a gloss enhancer.

90% of the stuff Chemical Guys sell is a mix of or relabeling of one of their existing products.

Me either.

I am just sharing what the owner of CG himself has told me.

Majority of CG products are a relabeled version of another product they already make. They would be far better off by having less products, but provide the ones that do the best for each task out of their own line up.

Every time I go to CG (or used to) it was a large task to figure out what I wanted.

I do like their Glossworkz soap, CWG, Maxi-Suds II and some of their other stuff such as the leather cleaner.

im guessing the stripping dilution ratio would be like five capfuls or something since its so concentrated. if you stick with 1-2 maybe even 3 i think youll be fine. btw i have the same problem with cg!! i have what i need from them and know what to get from now on hahahahah i love all their products they work really great.
