Supercharger Kit Poll

Would like to get a more official sentiment of people who will SC the M vs. people against it. Hopefully there isn't another poll on this one.

the engine isn't strong enough to handle forced induction..maybe for the first 40,000 miles if you're lucky but then what?

False, my buddy has his m3 supercharged, nearly from day 1. He's over 80k and beats the living piss out of it on the track.

People lose engines when they get greedy for power and don't support it properly.

-no intercooling
-no increased oil cooling
-more boost on crap fuel

Several locals here that have S/C kits from ESS, some have had them on since they were released a couple of years ago.

etc

If it's done right, installed correctly, using the correct tuning and not pushing the boost to much it's great.

Ours is Supercharged, driven very very hard and it's totally fine.

I am looking at the VF kit and worked with Tom at EAS but did not pull the trigger yet.. got really close. The extra torque is worth the money, the test drive was awsome on the VF kit it changes the whole character of the car and give it the response most are looking for in this car. I am hoping to do ith in the few months.

I am an Natural Aspirated purest...but the more I read and hear about these supercharger kits, the more I want that power.

One day whenever I'm finally done toying with the E46 M3. I really want to get a kit for the E90 M3. There is a new supercharger kit on the market that I am really keeping an eye on. I'm looking forward to seeing some further reviews and details.

In the mean time...I'll start saving my pennies

...there's also the thought to simply wait for the new M3 Turbo:

-Less likely to get damaged, as it's intended to have Forced Induction
-Less costly (similar to 335i today), many options from software and hardware

I am happy with my penis size as well as the power of my stock V8 motor.

That is the problem with you Americans.. always want more and bigger..when you cant even properly utilize what you currently have..

I'm happy with the power as is no need for SC. You should add another section to the poll with:

happy as is or no need for SC
