Glad to see you guys are finally coming around, haha. I know if I can run 18x10 et17 245/35 and 18x12 et22 285/30 on my non M e90 you gusy shouldn;t have any problems. Makes me think I should keep my wheels and wait till I get a m3. Anyone running style5's on e9xM?

I don't think you'll be able to clear the brakes with the wheels. Not positive, but I remember reading about this a while back

Yeah, the small face slant lip bbs isnt going to fit over the M brakes. Sizes would work, front would just need a spacer to clear the strut!

And im not nuts, your interior is nuts! Gimme gimme

12" are easily possible but what's the point of running a 12" wheel with a small tire that will fit on a 10 or 11" wheel

Cuz I can, and a 285 isn't a small for non M. I here you though, running a 12 with a 285 is pointless for performance, its for looks (4.5" Lip).

When I upgrade to and e90m I'll up the tire size to a 305 or 315.

I totally understand the argument against the whole stanced scene and the stretch tire look, I know it fucks up all the driving aspects of your car. Once I move to an M I'll go for the wide tire and performance oriented wheel/tire setup. For now my 200hp 325i isn't fast enough to worry about it.

Here is my "semi-aggressive" set up. It's as far as I want to go. My wheel/tire sizes were chosen to balance performance with wide stance. I have no rubbing with this set-up.

Wheel Specs -
HRE R40
Satin Black

Front:
18 x 10 et18
Michelin PSS 275/35/18

Rear:
18 x 11 et30
(I use a 12mm spacer for an effective et18 - I chose the 30mm offset to allow for 295's or 305's to be installed in the future)
Michelin PSS 285/35/18
