Pch Po-po Love the Blind Spot

Last night, a cop who was following me in my blindspot didn't pursue a guy who cut us both off flying across 3 lanes of moderate traffic without a turn signal.

Boy you gotta love attention. How courteous of him to make sure my brake lights were properly functioning

The cop didn't give anyone a ticket, what's the problem? How do you know he was following the guy, maybe he was off duty just trying to get home? BTW, he wasn't BRAKING the law anyway, LOL. If you think cops are going to blatantly overlook someone BREAKING the law and is out to get BMW drivers, than you are just as paranoid as the OP.

CHP especially are money hungry jerks for the state, no logic will convince them otherwise, if you break road rules that are outdated and have been here since ford pintos were on the road, they will make you pay, all they are is tax collectors with guns

My nieghbor does, DUDE.... in fact, he takes his K-9 home with him as well, and besides, if he wasn't headed home maybe his shift was done and he's headed back to the station to go home. Either way he didn't give anyone a ticket. What's the problem? Oh yeah, he was following the M3 in his blind spot, oooooo...

Hey Metak,

Since your neighbor takes the K9 home, does the dog shit bricks and spaz out if you're drunk or have some weed in your pocket? lol just curious

Well, oddly enough, with that K-9 patrol car parked out in front of the house we have had no auto thefts, home break-ins,... etc. I actually like having the car there every night! But according to leeor cops don't drive their patrol cars home...sigh.

Actually, a lot of cops get to take their patrolcars or motorbikes home.

OP: I've been in the same scenario more than once, he's oblivious and it's useless to try and even ask if he saw the offender. I'm seeing more examples of cop's egos overriding plain sense recently myself.

Not to sound demeaning or anything like that so please dont take it as such, but you native cali guys dont know how lucky you really are, you all dont have a clue how nice the cops here are, well at least in orange county not so sure about LA. Drive around in Northern Virgina for a day and there you will find tax collectors with guns... and they give out jail time like its going out of style for driving infractions!

Had a cop follow me from the 101 to the 110 south up to Wilshire Blvd exit the other day... maybe he was just trying to get a look at my rims and Ti Exhaust
