I bought from eBay China a rear carbon fiber diffuser for around $335 shipped. It took only 8 days since I bought it and paid it, to arrive to my door steps in Puerto Rico.

Fitment 7/10
Quality 8/10
Cost 10/10 only $335 when the apparently "original Vorsteiner" cost $1,800.
LOL

And people say fitment in Voirsteiner is NO direct fitment. LOL

So i believe they are the same

.
Not sure if you were implying the Morr has TUV approval or not but what I read is that their processes are done to TUV standards; not that they have TUV approval / certification for their wheels. Two very different things.

I hear everyone mentioning wheels that they would buy (at least on this page) and no one mentioned HRE?

And also, if ADV1 is so terrible, how come they always have their wheels on exotics? (I in no way sticking up for anyone, just asking lol)

They have their wheels in exotic, because their prices are exotic.
No cheap car will have a $8,000 set of wheels.

ADV1 are beautiful wheels, but maybe their price should be around $1,900 a set of wheels and not their exotic price.

They have made them exotic due to pricing not quality

good explanation.I sure would like to know if these exotic owners are aware of the quality of the wheels.....

but most are brandwhores anyway, so question asked and answered.

Perhaps, ADV.1 simply pays the exotic cars' owners a marketing fees for a quick photo shoot and when done, ADV.1 will take the wheels back out.

HRE's are top notch. No better custom wheel maker IMO.

The service I've gotten from them has been incredible. And I'm like the 3rd or 4th owner of my wheels!

Hi all,

I just wanted to chime in and show how HRE accomplishes wheel assembly the proper way.

Example: S101 (In Satin Charcoal)

Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding HRE. Also, if you are local, send me an email and I can give you a personal tour of our facilities.

HRE charges you big price. But their products are top notch. Plus Lon was a very awesome guy to deal with (i don't know if he's still in HRE or not). I certainly am very pleased with my purchase from HRE...

ADV.1 also makes very great looking wheels. Does that mean we should all close our eyes and forget what actually their wheels are?

Mine wasn't. The installer and i spent a whole afternoon trying to make it fit. And i was charged close to 10 times more than what you paid for you diffuser. I think i deserved less problems, don't you think so?

Yours was Vorsteiner or eBay?

I installed mine myself in the garage. It took me like 45 minutes, alcohol, a screwdriver and good 3M tape. My assistant was my wife. LOL

Dont' go to the M5 board here and mention how bad ADV's are. I gave them links, but they said it was just a bunch of people saying "They suck" for 10+ pages.
Then the mods banned me because I mentioned their engine was based on a regular "N" engine, and that's why BMW recommends their standard 5W30 oil.

Once you get up to that price range, they don't take the time to research what they're buying and won't listen to you if you aren't in "the club" they're in. It's too bad. It's too bad the mods have a similar attitude.

.

Fly-by-night forged wheel companies are a dime a dozen these days. Just stay with the good stuff and you'll be fine.
