You obviously dont drive around Sandton much

Hardly a week goes buy when I dont see at least 4 or 5 Astons in traffic

Was stuck next to a Vanquish the other day. Turned the radio off, opened the window and listend to the sweet music

Thanks! My M3 is pretty much my daily car. I'm really looking forward to the E92 as I think it will make an awesome daily. It has a lot more comfort features and useful day-to-day features and technology than something like an Aston, although I sometimes use the Aston on a daily basis and it can be a daily.

I once did a road trip with four people in my E46, and the boot jammed to the hilt with 10 days of luggage in abject comfort, and no problems overtaking either! An M3 has to be one of the absolute best all rounders

From what I can tell, the wait for an Aston can vary from 6 to 8 months...

Hey, nice 335i cabriolet you got there. How are you finding it so far? I'm quite keen to see how the E92 M3 cabriolet turns out when it eventually gets launched. Might swap my coupe in after a year or something, guess we'll see.

I looked at your pictures, what trim spec is that you have there?

its high gloss black on the cabrio ... love the car ... best BMW i have had thus far ... prev best was the Z3 Mcoupe (not the E46 M3, beleive it or not, but the M3 is very nice, just the Mcoupe you more engaged with the car) ... the 335i is smooth and fast where the ///M was just fast, feels quicker than the M3 to 200km/h, but that could be because of joburg altiitude .. . love the V8 sound of the 335i ...

Just signed the RTP to the dealer, white on black, logic 7 sound, 19's, front/rear PDC, and CA ... R705 000 with their R2000 license and reg ... clearly indicated i want the car in 2008 1st quarter ... (just my past experience with the ///M brand)

Any idea what the high-gloss anthracite wood-trim on the M3 will be like? Sounds like what you have has no grain but this might.

wish they had piano black like in the ///M6 ... be a def no brainer choice for me then on trim ... yup the high gloss black has no grains in it ... it just black ...

not sure , told the sales guy i will change it later before it goes into prod ... dont even know whats those different trims looks like, tried searching the web with no luck ...but def not going with alluminum ...

Yea, I don't like the look of the aluminium either. Titanium shadow is the standard and that's what I have on my E46. Wouldn't mind a change so if the high-gloss anthracite looks good I'll take that, otherwise I'll go with the default.

hey guys just wondering if anyone been in to spec there m3 yet? i'm keen to see a real life samle of the carbon trim leather... hmmm is the internal lights package really an extra? why? BMW SA is really F'd up with our pricing

You can see the carbon leather trim on some of the Z4 coupes around,ask your dealer.

How's it? Specced my E92 M3 this morning. The dealer showed me a used Z4 M Coupé with the carbon effect leather trim and I thought it looked really good, so I ordered it (in fact I felt like buying the Z4!). Now all I have to do is wait...

Not really... he wouldn't commit to anything better than Q4 2007, but I will be in the first wave (whatever that means).
So likelihood is my girlfriend will take delivery while I am back in Durban surfing, but hey...
