Arrow Houston M Club Track Days for 2012

Hi guys,

I am working on track days for 2012.

Here's a look at the first half of the year.

February - TWS
March 24th - MSRH (firm)
May - GSS

Events will be the same format, single afternoon, 4x 30-min sessions.

Let me know your thoughts

Yup. Grandsport. Very tight and technical track. Excellent place practice taming 414 (or 575) hp

We will plan all events to avoid conflicts with BMWCCA, NASA, and other related orgs.

^Looks fun, any elevation?

And by the way Richard, I was recently transferred to non-offshore gig, so I'll be able to make track days again.

What else is there??

I'd like to try out all of the tracks within a 5 hour range of Houston.. That's 5 M3 hours too so it should include a fair amount of tracks. The long distance tracks will probably require a 3 day weekend though so we would need to plan it out far enough that the time can be planned for.

LOL. Well be sure to put April 28-29 on your calendar. BMW CCA club race/DE @ MSR cresson 3.1. Just under your 5 hr limit, drive up Friday and home Sunday evening.

I may also bring a friend with a gt500 if there is room. He is also a noob.

Another suggestion is the 1/4 mile track in Bay Town on a Friday night. Alternatively, we could all race corvettes in the Woodlands.
