Let me start off by introducing myself.....

I live outside Seattle, on the "Eastside". I was into cars awhile back before I had kids. Corvettes, etc. Now that my kids are high school age, I convinced myself that I no longer needed a "family car", and decided to have some fun.

I have been in the market for an E92 M3 for about 9 months or so. The search started as "Well, I'll look for a nice used 2008 or so". That changed into "Maybe, something in 2010 or 2011". Well, a long story short, in late December I ordered a new 2013 M3.

Well, after 3 LONG months of waiting, my new M3 arrived and I picked her up last Wednesday.

She is GORGEOUS!

Yes, I'm also surprised by my choice of AW (it seems like everyone gets it in AW lately). I'm not a white car kind of guy, but the M looks SOOOOO good in AW.

I'm working hard to get 1200 miles on her for the first service, and then playtime starts.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!

I'm working really hard on the break in period. As of tomorrow, I'll have the car 1 week and I have already put on almost 500 miles. For some reason, my daily commutes to and from work have doubled and sometimes tripled in length! Go figure. 1200 miles here I come.

If we ever get a sunny day, I'll get some pictures and post them.
