Lol, great info there. A GTO does not have the same bolt pattern as BMW.

And no, the wheels are not stolen. However, at the current price they are a steal.

Thanks for your contribution to this thread

Oh man-
We still don't know what car it came off from.

I don't know the seller either, but why does it matter what car the wheels are from? As long as the wheels fit, or don't fit, your car, that's the most important point, right? As far as hub centric rings, if you need 74.1 mm rings, just buy a set for $4 ea from BBS USA.

Just thinking aloud here, but what if the seller bought them used for his car, but they don't fit and he never took pics of them on his car. In this case, he won't know what car the wheels were originally on.

Another scenario: the seller found them for a great deal somewhere and is trying to flip them for a profit. That's not illegal either, right? He also won't know what car they were originally from.

I like the wheels too but I think $2k is too rich for my blood at this point. They'll fit great on both my E39 wagon and E38.....

Both reasons are very reasonable and no one will blame.
But what makes it so hard to tell us the story?
(I'm guessing it's from Nitrous Garage in Walnut)

I think so too. But if you're a seller and trying to make a profit, would you tell the buyers where and how much you purchased your items for?

If it's me, I may not tell how much I paid but I'll tell- I got it off from someone else but didn't fit or changed my mind or something. Not just ignoring a lot of potential buyers questions.

I think I'm not helping his sale and feel like I keep making this thread off the topic so I'll be quite from now.

Seller, good luck with sale!

As a general rule, if it looks too good to be true, it isn't, there's always more than meets the eye....

Too goo to be true sometimes became the deal of the year- I got a BBS CH 19" set for my E46M3 with tires (Toyo T1R, front 60% threads, rear 25% threads) for 1600 shipped. =)
So too good to be true, exist in the forum. =)

I gave up on the getting info about previous car but I still like the wheels.
Hey Jay Jay, can you take some pictures of exact part #s so I can call BBS to confirm the fitment? I really can't afford to spend a lot of $$ and not using it (if it doesn't fit).

Can you do that much at least please?

Looking at the cars in your signature, they will not fit any of them. They will fit the E92 M3, not the E46.
