not sure if i should get this

this use to be my fav watch like 3-5 years ago but i never picked it up. it looks like they're discontinuing it and this place told me i can have their last one for $2,500. I can't find it anywhere for that price. most are $3-4k down from $4.5k.

1. i might never be able to find it again since it's no longer being manufactured.
2. it seems like a damn good deal.

my question is, would i be stupid to pass this up or am i just being impulsive and i should probably just get an omega instead? haha

IMO, if you're going to get a Carrera get a Heuer vintage, otherwise get a speedy pro.

That is a pretty good deal. I have that very watch which I purchased on sale through the military exchange for about that two years ago, but local jeweler wants about $1k more than that now.

I have a similar watch, the Tag Carrera Calibre 16 Automatic. I love it, perfect size, keeps good time, dont regret it a bit.

I say go for it.

For that price, if you have the cash I would say definitely get it. Looks great and the price is sick for such nice wrist candy

It's obvious that this is still your favorite watch. Don't miss this opportunity and regret it for long time!

That is the first TAG I purchased and had to get it serviced 3 times due to faulty movement. It does look great but make sure you can still get it serviced through TAG directly.

Not a tag fan at all. If you like Omega I say go for that, more money buy a way better time piece.

well, it's been some time but waited and ended up getting the tag heuer carrera calibre 16 day/date chrono.

it's a bit larger and just fits me better imo.

it came with the metal bracelet but i grabbed the leather too so i can switch it up if need be.
