Production slipped from wk36-37 to wk39

About 2 weeks ago BMWNA told me production was scheduled for week 37 and might move up to week 36. Yesterday, I found out it had slipped to week 39.

Anyone else have their production slip? If so, what did you order? Mine is a DCT sedan with all options but 19s, M-roof and shades. I'm thinking one of my options (prolly DCT) is holding back production.

Mine is scheduled for week 39 and hasn't moved. Mine is a coupe with M DCT and all the bells and whistles. They may be running into supply problems on the iDrive?...just a guess.

Hmmmm. Is your dealer large? Excellent service dept? I'm wondering if since my dealer is small, they may be lower on the priority list.

I just sent in an email to my dealer requesting confirmation that my week 37 production is still in fact scheduled for week 37. It's a very small dealer in a very small town, so we'll see if that's the cause. If it's not delayed, we can compare specs to see what might be the cause.

My CA just emailed me back (gotta love the prompt service). He gave me my production number and told me that I'm in Status 112 and that my build was bumped up from Week 37 to Week 36. Hopefully, I don't get a follow up like you did telling me that I'm now bumped back to Week 39. Fingers crossed...

My dealership is a low volume place in a small town (Bryan, Texas), so I doubt that's the problem. Also, once a dealership gets an allocation, I don't think it's bumped unless the dealer willingly trades the spot or there's some sort of supply issue. Maybe Will or some other sponsor CA could confirm this.

Here are my build specs, if you want to compare:

'09 E92 M3 (6MT)
Interlagos Blue
Black extended Novillo leather
Carbon leather trim
Moonroof
19" wheels
Premium package
Technology package
Enhanced premium sound
Satellite radio
iPod/USB adapter

Man you guys are lucky. I only got a production number, but no build week and in the BMW Owners Circle the production number pulls up a 2005 X5, haha. I hope I get a build week soon and it is at the end of September or early October.

Get used it to. Some of us that got cars back in Mar-May were bumped all over the place due to the 19" wheel delay. I was originally a week 6 build and finally was built at week 13...but moved to week 15....geez, what a ride that was.

Car completed production on April 1 and I picked it up May 1 in Dallas.

Good luck! Enjoy your cars when the come in. It is awesome.

Since week 36 is in September, how has yours been built already? Do you possess secret powers? I cannot warp time/space. Can you tell me how it's done? Is it an imaginary ship as well?

Maybe it's a DCT issue.

6MTs get bumped forward.

Consolidated, can you check with your CA and find out if you are still on schedule?

Sorry, week 29.... was thinking 36 after reading his postfor some reason. Finished production July 15th.... Anyway, goodluck on the car being built on time. Working on the ability to warp time/space, anyday now.

A worthwhile endeavor.

Hope it comes in soon. I can only imagine that the wait gets worse as the car gets closer.
