Why do people do this

same thing happened to me yesterday. went to breakfast with my son yesterday. parked the car parallel to the curb across the street from the breakfast place. 300 feet clear in front, 300 feet clear in the back. i am the only car parked there. come out, and there is a tercel 1" in front of me and accord 1" behind.

as careful as i was getting out, i still managed to get an imprint of accord's license plate frame and a screw holding it on my rear bumper that was replaced LAST WEEK

the damage is minor, but its there. i was soooo bummed when i saw it, i was ready to cry. and 5 minutes later i noticed a rock chip on my windshield AND the front bumper next to the fog light. happy fathers day to me

i think i should stop giving a damn....

Don't ever stop caring for your car, just don't be obsessive about it. I'm too paranoid but I think I'm getting over it. Shit happens, and it's life, all we can do is just try to look out for our rides...haters will do w/e they want to offend us, but it in the end, it will still just be a car.

Sometimes, it happens when you drive a nice car. I guess BMWs are rare in the neighbour in the pic and the driver just wanted to check it out.

Happened to me last week. I went to a supermarket at 2 a.m., I parked all the way at the far end of an empty row and walked 1/8 mile to the door in the pouring rain. Come back in under 5 minutes to find my car blocked from view by someone that's parked in the next to last spot. The entire freaking lot was empty except for us. I just don't know why people do that.

Happens to me all the time. Ill never figure it out. If I happen to find somebody with the same idea as me I at least give them one spot at the end of the lot.

i had some one dent my old car the first night i had it. the movie theater parking lot was empty and i parked all the way in the back. this guy in a 86 chevy panel van opened his door into my brand new 04 Z4 3.0 i flattened all four of his tires and laughed like a crazy person allthe way home with the top down. FUCKERS park some where else

OMFG!!! I so effing agree!!! Why do ppl insist on parking next to you? They have huge parking lots in front of stores. I took precautions and park at the far end. I had to endure snow and subzero temps to reach the door, but that's not gd enough. An idiot will just somehow find the spot next to me more appealing. I'm sick of this.
