Remus Race for Sale/Trade (Southern California)

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
*UPDATE* - The Exhaust is off the car and ready for pickup/install/shipping.

Selling a Remus "Race" exhaust. You will need to buy connecting pipes or re-use your OEM pipes by cutting off the OEM Muffler & clamping on the Remus.

The exhaust is currently @ European Auto Source in Santa Ana and they will install it for you on my dime. The exhaust can also be shipped for approximately $100

looking for $900 obo...

Had to remove the exhaust because my wife was giving me grief over it.

no connecting piping...

No connecting pipes if I'm swapping to the "Sport" version of the Remus. If we are swapping OEM Muffler for the Remus some piping needs to be swapped (since the OEM piping had to be cut to have the Remus "slip on"). The Remus clamps on to cut oem piping. If swapping to OEM, we'd unbolt further back and swap the connecting pipes (my cut oem pipe with the remus clamped on for uncut oem with the stock muffler).

...I hope the above makes sense, its starting to confuse me as I read it back

I have to look under the car some more, or maybe someone can chime in here as to the details on how far back we gotta unbolt when going from remus to OEM...I'd rather not visit a muffler shop and have to weld.

Translation:

If you are buying the mufflers, then no connecting pipes, he needs them for his Remus Sport.

If you are trading for OEM+cash, then yes, you do get the connecting pipes, he does not need them for an OEM exhaust that has not been cut.

Unbolt them at the ball joints, You will see the clamps.

Good luck with sale. I love my Remus Race, that's for sure.

Ha ha, old post, I don't think there is any more cutting necessary on Remus anymore.
