I need some help here please. Its about my exhaust and my oil lol
Im getting my oem exhaust done. Took it off axel back. And it sounds AMAZING. Is their any issue with running without the axel back?! Like heating up the diffs? or anything? And What oil does the 2011 m3 e90 use?

It does sound amazing without the rear section, but yes it's probably a good idea to at least run some pipes behind the diff to get the exhaust out under the heat shielding below the trunk if nothing else could use the stock connecting pipes and chop them off just before the muffler. Loud as hell but it does sound amazing for $0 and an hour's work with a sawzall.

I really don't see a problem with having it off for a little while... but it is wise to have it run to the rear... Also the car uses 10W60 TWS oil from BMW...
