A few questions

Guys
I got a few questions.
1) I saw on the site that the E93 doesn't have the little spoiler that the E92 has and I read that I can't be installed. But I went to my dealer and he said, no problem to take it as an option. So, can the E93 have the little spoiler on the trunk or not? ( I ordered an 09 model)
2) I saw a pic of an M3 here with the rims of an M6, so I asked the dealer and he said tha M6 rims do not fit the M3 ones. Whats the deal? Are they fake than?
3) Is it worth to take Mdrive as an option? It will cost me another 300euros

Thanks you guys

I would not leave that guy alone in a garage with an M3.

Take the M-Drive option, go with the 18" wheels as I love them. I allmost payed the enxtra $1,000 for the 19", would have had to wait back in March up to July to get it and the 18" perform very well and allow you to absorb a little more bumps on the road. I got space gray so the 18" are gray and worked out well IMO.
Also, the spoiler is an option so you can get it!

Good luck on your purchase.

1) pretty sure you can put it on
2) m6 oem rims will fit, but you might have to roll the fender...the offsets are very aggressive
3) get it.

Agreed!

Also, with regard to the lip spoiler, my service guy said BMW made a conscious decision NOT to include the spoiler on the decklid since it's a dual-hinged lid (opens as a trunk, and as a tonneau cover for the convertible hardtop) the downforce created by the spoiler could misalign or otherwise damage the hinges back there.

Not sure if he was blowing smoke or what, but I'm not going to risk a potential mechanical failure just for the sake of good looks. Besides, as an owner, I think the E93 M3 back end looks great without the spoiler IMHO.

That sounds like some serious BS. I don't think that the little spoiler is going to create so much downforce that hinges are going to become misaligned. Either way, the vert boot lid looks good as it is. They probably didn't put it on there because it would look too busy with the shark fin.

Don't get M6 reps. Get the real thing and roll your fenders.

So the shark fin is also a standard thing and no option. Intresting, Im learning every day

well maybe ill use the money for the spoiler and black kidney grilles than. My only subtle mod But I like the spoiler :d

Damned, why is life so hard on me
