Anyone else's M3 on the TRUCK?

Has anyone's M3 been loaded on a truck destined for the dealership yet?

I just got a call from my CA...my M3 is scheduled to leave the VPC Thursday, and should arrive at the dealer either Thursday or Friday, depending on how many stops the truck is scheduled for. The VPC is only a few hours from my dealer.

My CA said he didn't receive anything in writing from BMW NA that instructed him to hold the car until Saturday, March 8th, but I told him I could wait to take possession on Saturday just in case. If BMW NA doesn't have a problem with a March 7th delivery, I'll take delivery then. At any rate, I should be in possession of my baby by this weekend!

Btw Where is the East coast VPC located?

Is it in NJ? If it is, and i live in NJ, would that mean it would get to my dealer faster?

I believe it's in Jersey City, near the port. I would assume that the North Jersey dealerships would get delivery first, as the truck travels south.

I think I'll baby her until the 1200 mile break in period is over, if I can hold out that long.

I just talked to my CA and he says it will not be released from the VPC (Charlestown) until the 8th and will arrive at the dealer on the 10th. No carrier has been assigned yet

What's the link for typing a VIN and seeing your car on a map as a red dot, traveling on the highway? I want to locate and drive in front of the truck to make sure nothing bad happens to my car.
